Apple Health Issues Resolved- Steps/Points Should Appear Soon

The previously reported delay with Apple Health data has been resolved.  Data from Apple Health should now be transferring to Go365.  Be sure to login regularly to get the data transferred over.

 

Although the issue is resolved, it could still take 24 hours for your data to transfer and for Points to be awarded.   Here are some things to remember to help make sure your Apple Health data gets to Go365:

 

  • Make sure you have the most recent version of the Go365 app
  • Be sure your app is connected to Apple Health
    • You can do this in the settings
  • Verify that your Apple HealthKit app is allowing your data to be shared with other apps
  • Again, make sure you login to the Go365 app at least every other day
    • Data can only reach Go365 from Apple Health if you log into the Go365 App

How Your Workout Data is Sent to Go365

With Go365, you now can receive Points for smaller/shorter workouts.  This means that you can earn points before you reach 10,000 steps.  With this new workout configuration, many of you might not be immediately seeing the number of points you were expecting for the day.

 

Is the system broken?

It is not.  In fact, it is working how it always has, but you just may not have noticed before because you were only awarded points for getting 10,000 steps.

 

So why does it work this way?

Great question.  The data connection from our partners is not instantaneous.  This means that your workouts aren’t going to transfer to Go365 right away.  Take a look below for an example of Fitbit workouts:

  1. You walk 12,000 steps
  2. The steps are upload to Fitbit.com
  3. Go365 checks your Fitbit Account for data
  4. Go365 posts the data on your calendar
  5. Based on the steps, Go365 awards points based on what it sees
  6. Several Hours Later: Go365 checks Fitbit again to see if there are changes

 

Based on the process, it is possible for you to see partial workouts on your calendar because Go365 hasn’t yet received the most recent data.

 

Other things to think about:

  • Go365 can’t award Points until it can see the data
  • Just because you see the workout on your device or the device’s app, it does not mean the steps/data is available for Go365 to use
  • If Go365 checks your partnered account before you upload, the delay to your calendar could be a little longer than you expect
  • Try to give up to 48 hours before you get concerned about workout uploads

The Workout Calendar: Where is it?

 

Looking for the workout calendar?  That’s a great question.  The Go365 page design is a little different than the previous experience.  Here’s where to find the workout calendar:

  • Log into your Go365 main dashboard
  • Scroll down a bit until you find the Weekly View
    • It looks like a line chart (see screenshot below)
  • At the bottom of the Weekly View is a link to the Daily Workouts calendar

What is Going on With my Bucks in Go365?

Do I lose my Bucks?  No.  With the launch of Go365, you did not lose any Bucks that were in your balance prior to January 1.  The only exception would be the 3-year Bucks expiration rule. In other words, your Bucks transferred over unless they expired on 12/31.

 

One-time Bucks adjustment: If were Silver Status or higher with Bucks in your account on December 31st, you received a one-time Bucks adjustment equal to the buying power of your old Mall Status discount. On January 1st, your Go365 Dashboard reflected your new Bucks balance. In other words, what you could buy with your remaining Bucks on 12/31 will remain the same with the one-time adjustment.

 

Here is a sample of how many Bucks would be added to your account if you ended the program year with 8,000 unspent Bucks.

Your 8,000 unspent Bucks would carry-over AND you would get additional Bucks added to your account.

 

To determine your one time Bucks adjustment, follow this calculation for your Status level:

Silver: Bucks balance ÷ .9 - Bucks balance

Gold: Bucks balance ÷ .8 - Bucks balance

Platinum: Bucks balance ÷ .6 - Bucks balance

 

For example:

You were at Platinum Status with 10,000 Bucks in your account.

(10,000 ÷ .9) – 10,000= 6,667 Transitional Bucks

Apple Users: Steps/Points Delayed

What is Happening: Users of Apple Health on iPhone devices are not seeing their steps and workout Points awarding.

 

Who it affects:  Go365 app users connected to Apple Health. 

 

What do I need to do? Nothing at this time.  Our team is working on it.  We do suggest that you update your Apple iOs as soon as you can as well.

 

When will this be fixed? Our target is to have Apple Health data loaded by the end of day Thursday, January 5.

Known Issue:  Employer Groups Experiencing Go365 Access Issues

 

What is Happening: Several employer groups are experiencing issues accessing Go365 and the Go365 website.   There are various error messages that could be displaying as well as messaging that indicates an individual is not a registered member.

 

Why is it Happening? There was an error in transferring the enrollment files, so the affected groups aren't properly connected to the Go365 program.

Get Additional Points For Logging Your First Workout!

 

With Go365, you are encouraged to stay active on a day to day basis.  To reward you right out of the gate, you are able to earn some additional Points just for logging a verified workout.   In fact, you can get 750 Points just for logging the first verified workout of your plan year with Go365!  On top of that, you can earn an additional 500 Points for the very first verified workout of your lifetime!  Since we are all experiencing Go365 for the very first time, we are ALL eligible for these additional Points!  That means that the first time we log a verified workout with Go365 that we will get 1,250 Points!  Let’s recap:

You can now install and use the Go365 app on Apple and Android smartphones.  You can find the app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play store on compatible smartphones.

Go365 Mobile App Coming Later Today!

 

Our team is working very hard to get the new Go365 app up and running for you!  While this is happening, some of you may see error message or have trouble accessing your Go365 accounts via the app.  That is to be expected while we finalize the launch of the app.  

 

Hang tight, the app will be ready later today!  We suggest checking back this evening.  In the meantime, sit back, relax, and root for your favorite football team!

With Go365, there are no longer status level discounts within the Mall.  Since status levels don’t affect your rewards, there is no longer a Rewards Status level shown to you.  The Status Level you see for yourself on the Go365 dashboard is the earned status for your current plan year.

So, if your status doesn’t look correct for some reason, it might be that you were used to seeing the Rewards Status listed.  You will now see the status based on the Points earned in your current plan year.

 

If you are at Blue Status, you probably just renewed your plan year.   You can move out of Blue Status by doing one of these three things.
