How to register for HumanaVitality.com, and retrieve a forgotten password

Version 2

        Web registration:

    • Make sure you have your member ID number available.
    • If you don’t have your member ID, you can normally create a MyHumana account with your SSN
    • Go to www.humanavitality.com
    • At the top of the page click on Login/Register
    • Click “Register now as a new user”
    • Confirm that “Member” is selected on the left hand menu
    • Click “Get Started”
    • Select “All Other Members” under the Member information heading
    • Enter your demographics (member ID number (first 9 digits), DOB, Zip)
    • Click the “Continue” button
    • Enter the desired username, password, and email address to be affiliated with the account.
      • User ID: 6-15 characters, no special characters, at least one letter and one number
      • Password:  8-15 characters
    • Check the box to accept terms and conditions
    • Click submit
    • Common errors in registration:
      • Confirm the information you enter matches what appears on your member ID card
      • Confirm the zip code you are entering matches the address related to your policy

    Username Retrieval:

    • Click “Forgot Username” at the top of www.humanavitality.com
    • Click continue under the “Member” option displayed
    • Enter your demographics
      • Member ID # (first 9 digits), First Name, Last Name, DOB, Zip Code
      • As they appear on the ID card and the zip code affiliated with your policy
    • Click “Submit”
    • If you entered the correct info, it will display your information.
      • If correct, click “I Verify”
    • The username will appear on screen.
      • Click “Sign in” to login with that username and the password
      • If you don’t know the password, click “ forgot your password”


    Password retrieval:

    • Click “Forgot your password” atop the HumanaVitality homepage
    • Enter your username
      • User ID: 6-15 characters, no special characters, at least one letter and one number
    • Click “Continue”
    • Choose how you want to reset your password
      • Answer a security question/by email/to my mobile phone
    • Answer a security question
      • A pre-selected question will appear
      • Answer the question to the best of your recollection, then click Submit
      • If you can’t properly answer the security question in 5 attempts, try another method to reset the password or call 1-800-4HUMANA (448-6262)
    • By Email:
      • Confirm the email address is still valid
      • If the email address is no longer valid, try another method to reset the password or call 1-800-4HUMANA (448-6262)
      • Click “Submit”
      • An email will be sent to the listed address within a few minutes.
      • Click the link within the email and follow the instructions to reset the password
    • To my mobile phone
      • This option is only available if a mobile number was previously provided and confirmed via the MyHumana account.
      • Confirm the number is still valid
      • Click “Submit”
      • Within a few moments, a security code will arrive via text message.
      • Enter the security code and click “Submit”
      • Follow the instructions to reset the password.
