Can you work on connecting for Android users?

Every time I go to log in, it says this is a new device and needs a connection code. It's annoying. Now I can no longer connected with Samsung Health. We are in the middle of a step challenge and my steps stopped counting on Nov. 8th. Looks like other Android users are having this issue too. Is there a resolution in the works?
