I just want the answer to the above question. I was sent a membership card, have racked up a lot of points and now am being told I can not use them. what is up with that?

When you are part of a family policy, all Points and Bucks are earned cumulatively, and the Bucks can only be redeemed on the policy holder's account.
Then how will I be able to use my points under the family plan?

Purchases can only be made on the policy holder's account, using the Bucks earned as a family. If you do not have access to their account, you will need to discuss the possibility with them or inquire whether they will make a purchase for you.
