Why doesn't my Go 365 account acknowledge all of the steps accumulated in my Apple Health app?
Are you using another app or device connected through your Apple Health app?
If you are seeing a step discrepancy, we would recommend disconnecting and reconnecting your Apple Health app to your Go365 mobile app. You can do this by uninstalling and reinstalling the Go365 mobile app from your phone. You can then follow the steps in How to Connect Apple Health to connect your accounts.
Yes. I'm using Polar's FLOW app. My steps were updating fine with just the Apple Health app but as soon as I synced my Polar A300 into my FLOW app, it sent step data to Apple Health. My steps shot up to 22,000 (only in my Apple Health app) because of a jog and Go 365 quit updating step data. I'm assuming this is because Go 365 won't recognize/accept step data from a third app like FLOW?
The next day it wouldn't even recognize step data from my iphone so I did the uninstall/install, reconnect game and am currently waiting the 24/48 hrs for Go 365 to read and update the data.
That is correct, Go365 does not accept third party data and it may cause a discrepancy in the step data uploading to Go365 when you have a 3rd party device connected.
Because you just disconnected and reconnected, we would ask to continue to allow the 24-48 hours. If you see that your steps are still not showing correctly, please let me know.
I've read in other threads that you don't do this because there are 100's of apps out there and it's hard to verify data on all of them. I get that, but why not Polar? They're a pretty common app/device.
At this time we are partnered with Polar devices, however their devices are not compatible with sending step data. The agreement with Go365 and Polar is that their devices will send heart rate and calorie data. I would be happy to submit feedback to Go365 Leadership to be reviewed for the future use of our program!
