Re: My Fitbit steps are not fully syncing with Go365 if I have 10k or more steps. Thought we had this problem resolved.
go365admin3 Nov 29, 2018 9:35 AM (in response to Aka2310917359)I am sorry for the frustration with your Daily Workouts. Do you manually log any workouts through your Fitbit app?

Aka2310917359 Nov 29, 2018 1:56 PM (in response to go365admin3)Yes, I do log my workouts through my Fitbit app because I use the Fitbit Zip and I have an Ionic watch. I usually workout on the treadmill using inclines and declines. I log the information from that into my app (time, distance, and calories burned); and it calculate the total steps due to the calories burned are higher than the automatic calories burned in the app.

go365admin3 Dec 5, 2018 8:28 PM (in response to Aka2310917359)If a workout is manually logged in the Fitbit app, it can add steps to your daily total that Go365 will not get because they were not verified with a device. Sometimes if you wear your fitbit on your ankle or shoe it will count the steps that you take during your treadmill workout!

Aka2310917359 Dec 5, 2018 11:39 PM (in response to go365admin3)That does not help because my Fitbit Zip is a pedometer and I am wearing it on my hip when I work out.

Aka2310917359 Dec 5, 2018 11:42 PM (in response to go365admin3)I forgot to include that it is not only the manually updated work out that this has happened to, but also when the step count has exceeded 10K while walking during the day.

go365admin3 Dec 19, 2018 8:40 AM (in response to Aka2310917359)I apologize for my confusion. Do you wear the devices at different times? Go365 can only receive the steps from one device per day. It will filter to the device that earns you the most Points for that day.

Aka2310917359 Dec 21, 2018 10:51 PM (in response to go365admin3)I wear the devices at the same time. However, wearing both devices at the same time really does not seem to be the problem. I did a test on December 20th using only my Fitbit Zip (pedometer). I used only my Zip for the day. My total steps for the day per my device were 12,019. However, GO365 only shows 11,392 steps. On December 17thmy steps recorded by Fitbit were 15,595 while once again GO365 shows an incorrect total of 14,116 steps. I have attached screen shots from these days.

go365admin3 Dec 28, 2018 10:12 AM (in response to Aka2310917359)Sorry for my confusion. So on the 20th you only used the Fitbit Zip, and you did not manually log any workouts in your Fitbit account?

Re: My Fitbit steps are not fully syncing with Go365 if I have 10k or more steps. Thought we had this problem resolved.
Aka2310917359 Dec 29, 2018 8:06 PM (in response to go365admin3)On the 20th my workout was on the treadmill, so I would have logged that information from the treadmill screen. However, this week (12/22 – 12/28) I have only been walking at the local park and not entering any information manually.
Fitbit Step Count GO365 count Step discrepancy
12/21 6,278 6,278 0
12/22 12,022 11,129 893
12/23 13,756 12,596 1,160
12/24 4,946 4,946 0
12/25 5,560 5,560 0
12/26 11,937 10,969 968
12/27 13,304 12,426 878
12/28 11,844 11,844 0
The discrepancies make no sense, especially since the steps for 12/28 are correct and match. I have included screen shots for 12/22, 12/23, 12/26, 12/27. It seems that when the following days steps are initially loaded the final numbers for the previous day were not loaded. I will keep watching to see if this continues.

go365admin3 Jan 9, 2019 2:31 PM (in response to Aka2310917359)I am sorry for the delay. Were you only wearing the Fitbit Zip those days or were you using another device as well? On your screen shots, it states exercise goal met - did you log any other exercises on those days?

Re: My Fitbit steps are not fully syncing with Go365 if I have 10k or more steps. Thought we had this problem resolved.
Aka2310917359 Jan 9, 2019 4:36 PM (in response to go365admin3)The exercise goal met is just the number of days per week that I exercise (3 days/week). It has nothing to do with the type of exercise being done. For the most recent screen shots submitted, I wore the Zip, the Ionic watch, and used the Fitbit app to track the exercise period of walking. The Fitbit dashboard shows the total steps taken during the entire day regardless of which device has recorded the most steps. For those days I did not do any other exercise except walk.

Re: My Fitbit steps are not fully syncing with Go365 if I have 10k or more steps. Thought we had this problem resolved.
go365admin3 Jan 15, 2019 1:17 PM (in response to Aka2310917359)Thank you for that explanation.
So after further review, the days that you have a discrepancy, you are not off by much which causes me to believe that the issue may be wearing both devices at the same time. It is normal to only use one Fitbit device at a time, so this is not a common issue.
Fitbit will combine the total number of steps for the day, aside from doubling the steps while both devices are on. And Go365 will only take the steps from the device that gets the highest single total of that day.
For Example:
If you put your Zip on at 7am and walk 500 steps, then put your Ionic on and walk a total of 10,000 steps, take off the zip and walk another 700 steps with the ionic.
Fitbit Total = Zip 500 + Zip/Ionic 10,000 + Ionic 700 = 11,200
Go365 Total = Ionic 10,700 (because the total from the ionic is higher than the zip for the day)
So it would show a discrepancy of 500.
Do you wear the devices in increments throughout the day for the most part?
