As per go365 manual, we can get points for calories from all Garmin devices. But I get points only for steps.
The Garmin device will have to be compatible with tracking calorie data. A calorie workout would need to have a start and end to calculate the duration and calories burned. To receive Points you will have to have an average of 200 calories burned per hour. Do you start and stop your workouts to calculate calories?
I couldn't find an option to start/stop calorie calculation. Do you know if this option exists with Vivoki? If yes, could you please guide me through the process?
I apologize for the delay. You will need to check with Garmin to verify if they track calories or heart rate data.
There is no way to start and/or stop calorie count with Garmin Vivoki device. However, the go365 manual says that we can get points for calories from all Garmin devices. I think it needs to be corrected. The main reason I bought Garmin Vivoki was to count calories. My Samsung Health app was already giving me points for steps.
I am sorry for the concern with your activities. The Garmin device will need to be able to track a workout. Not all Garmin devices are able to do so.
To get Points for a calorie workout, you will need to have a duration and a number of calories burned within that time frame. Without being able to start and stop the workout, it is not able to have a duration to calculate the calories burned per hour.
It may be better to update your manual (for future members). Thanks.
