steps not syncing for challenge

My steps did not sync for a challenge I'm in. I walked almost 12,000 steps on Saturday (3/23) and 14,000 today (3/24). Only the steps from my phone, which wasn't on me, synced. I tried to disconnect and reconnect my Fitbit, but now it says only my steps moving forward will sync. I am very upset because I have been trying to get steps in and they are not showing up. Also, I don't want to encourage myself to have my phone on me, which is why I have the fitbit, so that I can have less screen time. Attached are screenshots from my Fitbit app.


Please help me asap, as the challenge is only one week.
