My app has finally connected to my SHealth but it is not syncing my steps. I have no credit for any steps,please assist me with updating from April 1st 2019?

I still have 0 steps in this app. I am participating in the 100DayDash and your app is not retrieving the step count. I was told that once this app connected to SHealth it would back date all my steps and it is not doing that.
