Steps not syncing

My steps are not being synced all of a sudden. August 5 was the last time it synced and it stopped syncing mid-challenge. Im not sure whats going on. Is anyone else having this issue or have suggestions? Ive deleted and re-installed my step app (pacer) as well as myfitness pal, and ive also re-booted my phone. Thanks
