SHealth shows connected on website but not on app, won't connect

My steps are not being synced from Shealth.  On the app, when I go to App & Device Connections, it says that SHealth isn't connected.  When I try to connect, it goes through all of the motions to the notice of the permissions but still doesn't connect.  None of my steps have been counted since 8/29/19.  What should I do?
