Please recognize my device! I'm one of the many apparently having this problem.

I'm yet another who is having an issue with the app & website recognizing my device. I have to get the verification code every single time & it is extremely frustrating. On the app, there's no "remember this device" option, just remember username, which is selected & my fingerprint is saved. On the website, I selected "remember this device" every time & even get an email that a new device is remembered, but when I try to log in again, I still have to enter the 2 step verification code every time. I've read all the other questions that have been asked, but since it appears all answers are given through private messages, I still have no idea how to fix it. Please help.
