Wow, I just realized that September is almost over!
I just wanted to share a great website that I found.
it is healthy aging month after all (check it out and see there are many other topics and awareness reminders for every month of the year-I know we all get busy with our human experience and this is a great resource to help us stay on track with our health). Healthy aging hit home for me since I just hit the big 50! Not a
bad number but a celebration of life and I want to utilize all my available resources to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible. For me, it was the realization that although I had the wonderful opportunity of working at home, I found myself two years in and 20 pounds heavier! How did that happen? I love to walk, run, well, do anything outdoors but here I am struggling with shedding those unwanted pounds.
I have signed up with a health coach-my daily cheerleader, got the Fitbit-yes, I do chase those steps every day, and now I am working on cleaning up my diet- keeping that cholesterol in healthy range is a great idea too.
